Westerville, Ohio — CK Construction CEO Lori Gillett and the Board of Directors announced the upcoming elevation of current president Jim Negron to CEO and current senior vice president Mitch Vincent to president, effective April 2026.
“CK is excited to enter this next chapter with Jim and Mitch leading the way,” said Gillett, who will continue to serve as board chair.
Guided by a multi-year plan, the transition will reflect CK’s commitment to long-term leadership development and organizational continuity.
Jim Negron – Incoming CEO
Negron will step into the role of CEO with more than 45 years of experience in commercial construction, including more than 33 years with CK. His journey from carpenter to CEO exemplifies a deep commitment to the industry and its evolution. Negron’s transformational leadership has been pivotal in shaping CK and Central Ohio, positioning the company for a vibrant future.
“I believe CK is at the forefront of a major transformation in construction,” Negron said. “Innovation is accelerating, the region is growing and a new generation is embracing the trades. The future is bright for our industry, our community and our team.”
Negron serves on numerous community-focused boards, including the Columbus Urban League and Catholic Social Services, and he currently chairs the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
Mitch Vincent – Incoming President
Vincent began his journey with CK as an intern and progressed through various roles across multiple disciplines, including field operations, preconstruction and business development before joining the senior management team as senior vice president.
“The journey I’ve taken through so many levels of this organization gives me a unique perspective,” said Vincent. “My priority as president will be to build on the foundation we’ve established and ensure our culture of opportunity continues.”
