Construction Suicide Prevention Week is part of National Suicide Prevention Month in September. It’s a dedicated time for raising awareness about the specific challenges construction workers face that can lead to suicide, and for providing essential resources to help prevent these tragedies.
This year’s Construction Suicide Prevention Week theme, “Building Community,” encourages regular communication with coworkers, family and friends as one way to build those connections. Taking just a few minutes each day to check in can strengthen relationships and create a support network that benefits everyone’s mental health.
